Lem Goldstein (they/them) is a New York born and raised lighting designer and electrician. They began studying technical theater at LaGuardia High School, and quickly fell in love with thrill of working backstage. As a recent Brooklyn College graduate with a B.F.A. in Theater Design and Production, they have established themself as a dedicated collaborator and creative problem-solver. Lem works as a freelance electrician in theaters across New York City such as The Public Theater, Playwrights Horizons, La MaMa ETC, Performance Space NY, and others.


Lem prides themself in being a calm presence in a room who strives to leave every space they enter a little bit better than it was upon their arrival.
